1980: China’s part of Japan’s block as a leaf power. The big three European nations rule over Europe’s small nations, the Soviet Union has it’s own little island, while the US lords over the rest of the world, including Japan itself.
1990: The big three has become the big four and of the largest, Germany, is pulling in the Soviet Union as a minor power. The UK keeps sizing down. China takes over the role of the Soviet Union, creating it’s own little island. US power grows even further and turns Saudi Arabia into a leaf power, while also diminishing Japan’s power.
The US has grabbed hold onto the UK as well. Russia has more or less replaced the UK as Europe’s big four in terms of Europe’s trading partners block. Again Japan loses to the US, while China has turned into a minor power next to Japan. South Africa is also a new minor trading power on the world stage, but reeled in by the US.
The Emirates and India suddenly form their own little island. China has replaced Japan as the minor power rival to the US and it’s already bigger than Japan has ever been.
Having a total of five minor powers under it’s wings: Japan, South Africa, Russia, Australia and Saudi Arabia.
The UK, back in the European block, is now a tiny power at the level of Turkey and the Netherlands.
The European block now is back to three nations, Germany, France and Italy.
China has overtaken the US and reeled in trading partners of all five minor powers, the Indian/Emirati island, and some of the European block.
The European block shrinks as Italy’s economy shrinks and France struggles to keep up with Germany.
The UK is now a leaf power of the US and thus the US has no more minor powers on it’s side, only leaf ones.
Japan is now a leaf power of China.
The US is starting to look like a minor power. Germany only survives because they are using anti-china protectionist measures.
Nah, the reality is that this is a “Biggest trading partner” chart.
My stories were a bit of a joke. All the nations in the European Union together are smaller than China itself and all Germany has influence over is the EU, which it should since it’s the head honcho of that union, although that could have been easily France as France is the bigger country.
The reality is that the US is the number one superpower out of two, and is the superpower that’s on the brink of collapse due to unpaid debts and have zero incentive to solve this issue, the other superpower being China, soon to be the only superpower left.
Germany is a lacky of the US and Russia is a minor power that is most likely waiting for the other US shoe to drop.
I find interesting the rise of super-satellites of China, especially in 2020 map. These are countries like Brazil and India which are primary trading partners of multiple other countries, but themselves have China as primary trade partner.
