Trump is ultimately loyal to himself, above even his horrible children. He will do anything to stay out of prison. Succeeding that, he will do anything to personally enrich himself. Succeeding that he will go on to satisfy his more base, carnal urges. That is the hierarchy of the man.
However, no country could or would give as much to Donald Trump as this stupid country has. This is the nursery of idiocy that incubated him. Does that mean he has loyalty to the United States? No, it just means he’s comfortable here, and he realizes this is the place that gives him the most. He knows it. He’s like “ha ha build my dying body a ball room, you idiots” and it happens.
