Disney is working with Sora? Yeah kingdom hearts is pretty cool I guess.
We have Disney licensing their characters for Sora at home!
I’m glad I stored as much old media as I could because at this rate it isn’t even worth pirating this stuff.
I would like to think something like this will encourage a renaissance in traditional media and art forms but the average person seems lazy and intellectually incurious enough to just keep consuming the slop. Kids growing up on this stuff will call you a boomer for being against it.
tbh, good movie can still be done in the 5-20 mil range (for usians, something like raid can still be feasibly be made for a couple of mil), not exactly insurmountable numbers
Bob Iger, on his damn knees: “PLEEEEASE! PLEASE, SAM! [sobbing] YOU GOTTA LET PEOPLE TREAT OUR CHARACTERS LIKE SHIT! I’LL DO ANYTHING!”
horny chat bots are about to get weird
So they’re trying to make it easier for people to make Elsagate content?
How much would you pay to have a Disney character be your friend on the AI friends app?
Would you like to invite Donald Duck to your birthday party? That would be $100 an hour please.
Did anyone else see the new Defunctland? It’s surprising that they’d so easily take on this risk for their brand. Even more surprising that they didn’t instead choose to gather evidence of OpenAI’s blatant copyright infringement and sue them to hell.
Hollywood choosing to rip all the copper wiring out of the wall to sell to silicon valley wasn’t what I was expecting a decade ago but I guess this is just the hell we live in
I saw the story about them suing Google for infringement first, and I was wondering what the rest of the story was.
It’s kind of analog to how happily companies feed all their secrets into the AI.
disney adults, you know you want to generate 1000s of videos, go for it.
