I don’t like the way he framed this. It feels like capitulation. We don’t know the motives or politics of the shooter, and frankly, it doesn’t matter: it’s not on leftists to take responsibility for it. Framing it as a “Right vs Left” thing is dangerous.
Capitulation would imply he had any convictions beyond serving the interests of the State apparatus in the first place.
