Of course the comintern always supported mao, never supported ataturk, didn’t dissolve itself, and supported the Greek revolutionaries in violation of the yalta agreement cause why have pragmatism and long term histiographic analysis when you have idealism.

(Also the USSR infamously supported Trotskytes despite the fact that Trotskyites were extremely hostile to them)

(Wait they didn’t do any of this…I can’t believe it)

This false equivalence is very infuriating and I have seen plenty of maoists do this malicious comparison:

The current iteration of the CPC undeniable raises living standards for the Chinese people, and in general makes moves to improve lives domestically, but this is all action that could be taken by a social democratic state, as the primary task of the CPC and the state is still to mediate the class struggle betwen the bourgeoise and the proletariat, as a state would function under liberal or fascists orientations.

This guy has to be a privileged westerner that thinks that social democracies are the “middle” man between the rich and the workers and have never struggled in life due to the “state” not willing to improve workers life instead of fatting the rich pigs pockets. Otherwise, they wouldn’t make this nonsense that is so divorced of reality.
