Iranian Communists called for a united struggle of all progressive forces after the Friday election of the “bloodstained” candidate Ebrahim Raisi as the country’s next president in a widely boycotted poll.

I’m… not sure what to think of this article as it seems to be repeating mainstream media talking points, though I understand the significance of the man in question that got elected recently.

    Iran is the main supporter of resistance fighters in Syria, Palestine and Yemen. They are also collaborating more and more closely with China and Russia. All of that makes them the main regional enemy of US and Israeli imperialism. So any call to overthrow the Iranian government is a call to strengthen imperialism.

    If you want news from the region, you should also read electronicintifada.net and presstv.ir, to counterbalance the western propaganda thats almost everywhere.
