The occupational power of Israel wanted to get as many Jewish people in their territory as possible to legitimize their occupation and settler policies. It is, after all, the “country” of Jewish people.

That was as far back as the 70s. Now that they are done with them – there isn’t really anyone left to convince and they have more than enough people to settle Palestine wholly – they want to get rid of non-white Jews living in their jurisdiction.

There are also Jews from Morocco or other Arab countries living in the occupation, because when Israel was created there was a lot of uncertainty about the future and they were allowed to live there. There are also Palestinians living in the occupied territories – outside of settled areas, Gaza or the West Bank. They have absolutely 0 rights, whereas Arab Jews (or African Jews) have some. When Gaza was created after the peace deal in 1949, there was again a lot of uncertainty about the future and many Palestinians decided to stay where they had lived their whole lives.
