According to the description of the original subreddit this aims to replace: “A subreddit for people interested in looking beyond cartoonish western propaganda, and learning about the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (“DPRK”).” If I’m reading this correctly, I interpret it as sharing news and other stories that show that the DPRK is just another country full of real people and not some crazy alien planet full of weirdos. Probably a better way to phrase that is that it’s a community for debunking western lies about the DPRK and showing everyday stories about the people therein.
