I really don’t get the “speaking in tongues” thing. Wasn’t the part of the bible where “speaking in tongues” was mentioned was that the holy spirit entered the disciples and enabled them to speak in other tongues so they could communicate Jesus’ message to people?
It was literally them being able to speak actual languages. Not this baby-babble nonsense.
It really is just a bunch of weird ass people hyping themselves up to speak literal nonsense, it’s really creepy. I remember seeing everyone around me at one point wailing to the sky in nonsense and thinking something might have been wrong with me for not being able to do it 💀
