I will never not find it funny that the progenitor of the boomer “wife bad” joke was happily married until his death and his wife traveled with him on tour and helped him write/workshop all his material. So it was all just like injokes and venting between two people who willingly spent decades couped up in hotel rooms together.
I can never remember his name even though I can remember reading an overview of his career and life in the context of “where did the boomer ‘wife bad’ joke come from.” I’m awful with names, sorry.
