I’m currently getting some shit for my future workstation.

I’m looking for one that doesn’t bottleneck the GPU and CPU and run ddr4.

I would just go for whatever B660 board is within your price range and has the feature set you are looking for. For an LGA 1700 board I am currently using the ASUS Prime B660 D4 Plus, or some shit like that. Its DDR4, has 3 M.2 m-key slots and doesn’t have any obnoxious gaming designs. Only thing is it might be a bit hard to find at a reasonable price now, it’s a bit older. Would definitely recommend that or something similar.

You won’t be able to overclock anyway unless you upgrade to a 13600k, and while it is a fantastic processor the performance benefits over a 13400 are probably gonna be negligible even with a chunky overclock unless you have really specific use cases or tweaking shit like that is just your thing, idk.

Definitely wouldn’t bother spending over $150 USD on a board though, can certainly find something serviceable for half that even. Good luck comrade.

Very good advice yea. Was thinking for a 13400/3060 it shouldnt matter much but absolutely a key thing to look at when choosing a board.

It only has 6 phases in its power design. The Asrock HDV motherboards are pretty much only suitable for the weakest chip they support, the i3-12100 in this case.
