All these territories USA stole from Mexico, like 10 states in 1800s. Whole Canada is Native American also.

Yes I agree, but Mexico at that time was also a expansionist and colonialist state that inherited its land from the Spanish Empire, and routinely subjugated and suppressed indigenous populations.

Neither Mexico or the US are good in this scenario. The land you gave to Mexico should be independent.

Same with giving Alaska to Russia. Russia has no claim on the land and it should belong to the native population and be independent. Russia has as much of a claim on Alaska as the US has on Hawaii or Puerto Rico.

This is Mexico today, not 1800s Mexico.

Alaska was Russian until tsar who like all other tsars was brilliantly competent and sold territory larger than Texas 7 million to USA, Alaska would be SSR when USSR reforms.

Alaska was not Russian. Alaska was colonized by an imperialist power to exploit its natural resources.

Also you cannot claim to say that we are going off modern day Mexico and then immediately say that Alaska should be given to modern day Russia on the off chance the USSR reforms.

You also didn’t answer my question of why shouldn’t the land you gave to Mexico not be independent indigenous territory? Mexico only had that land due to inheriting it from the Spanish Empire, so why should they get it back? Why not make it independent?

Didn’t Russia sold Alaska to USA in 1867? If it didn’t sold it, it would be part of USSR and be a SSR after revolution.

Alaska would be autonomous republic in today’s Russia, like Chechnya for example and then a SSR in case USSR is reformed.

Since it was stolen from Mexico by USA and everything USA did and does to Mexico for centuries to this day, Mexico more than deserves a chunk of USA as a payoff+ big part of southern state demographics are Mexicans, that would be just 10 states then 1 to Russia and 1 to Cuba, the rest independent along with whole Canada.

It doesn’t matter if Russia sold it. The land was still an administrative colony designed for resource extraction. Neither Russia or the US have any reasonable claim to Alaska.

Also even if Alaska wasn’t sold, there would be no way it would remain as an SSR. It would have been quickly invaded and annexed by the United States or Canada during the Revolution or Russian Civil War.

Plus Russia sold the land to the US in 1867 because Britain and Canada were preparing for a land invasion due to Russia being weakened after the Crimean War. Russia would not have been able to defend and supply their Alaskan holdings, and it would have been an almost certain loss. Hence why Russia sold Alaska to the United State for an extremely cheap price extremely quickly.
