Just looked it up, apparently its “600 US groups linked to the CPC”. So basically a McCarthyist witch-hunt.
In related news, a university I live close to, shut down its Confucius institute, because the US department of Defense (DoD), which has relations with the university, asked them to do so. So this is very much taking place.
600 reasons, are they serious? Is it a list of Chinese people they have seen in their neighborhood?
