a lot of Greek gods go beyond “not perfect” into “actually just petty abusive assholes”
The only good guy in Greek mythology was Prometheus, and look what they did to him. Though his punishment didn’t actually took that long in godly terms since even Zeus finally acknowlegded Prometheus is just a great guy and ordered Heracles to free him.
Also dude from other cathegory, still douchebag but getting way too much flak was Agamemnon. It’s actually a small miracle that he functioned in society somewhat considering his father was one of the evillest scum in entire mythology, his uncle rivalled father, and later he had the monstrually bad luck with gods treating him as plaything and setting him up for some really wicked shit even for a greek god standards. So much of what he did really was not even his fault (greek gods also don’t give a slightest shit about concept of free will, and they have rather crude and direct, often spectacular, methods of solving that and making mortals do what they want).
