I am saying this as someone from the UK - We are genuinely one of the worst countries in the world for trans rights. I am making plans to leave here as soon as possible and so are my trans friends. PM Rishi Sunak made anti-trans jokes while Brianna Ghey’s mother was in the same building, Keir Starmer is not only a massive transphobe but has actual Neonazis in his party, liberal democrats aren’t much better, and the only semi decent party (Green Party) have basically no chance of winning a general election at any point within the next couple of decades.
