    1. How much uninterrupted sleep do you get each night?

    2. Do you drink coffee or other caffeinated drinks?

    3. How much of your diet is whole grain and how much is sugar?

    4. Do you go to bed and wake up at the same time each day?

    5. Do you use a screen in the last hour before bed? If so, do you have the screen bright or dim with a blue light filter?

    6. How active are you currently? Do you walk to/at school/work?

Does that mean you need to eat sugar regularly to maintain your blood sugar levels?

Tbh I don’t know enough about diabetes, so please forget my other advice about diet. I do not want you to suffer if my advice does not apply.

Maybe if someone else with diabetes can explain how they manage their diet…?

You could still try the caffeine-timing and other suggestions.

When you say you want to be more active, is walking an option?
