I personally want to buy a CD-player and a laptop with a DVD drive and start collecting CDs and DVDs again. I think that it’s nice to own a physical copy of something. I also think this will make me listen to albums and watch movies more. I’m done with Netflix and Spotify since you don’t own the media you consume and they can take it down anytime. But it’s also nostalgia for me since DVDs and CDs were everywhere in my childhood and we went to the record store and the video store a lot.
But what do you think about it? And what do you think about CD vs Vinyl vs Cassette?
I have CD of every movie I like stored on shelf, for example, as soon as something new comes out on blu-ray 4k, I’m buying it, it’s much easier.
