As a freelance journalist – or an office worker if you wish – I have always believed that I should regularly buy a new laptop. But older machines offer more quality for much less money.

It’s not specifically linux but I think there’s a lot of overlap between people interested in linux/unix and the type of people who use old/used laptops either out of necessity or just because they prefer to.

    there are some great deals ebay. like gaming laptops from 2016. typing on a Lenovo Y700 rn.
