As suggested here, this is a thread for Korean language learners to share ressources, experiences, or ask questions.

I’m not sure how much activity this thread will get; if this thread sees more activity, I will adjust the frequency to be bi-weekly or weekly.

    Hello everyone :)

Lately I haven’t studied Korean as much as usual, but I have been spending a lot of time learning about Korean history. I do get some language practice when reading old documents or looking at history articles in Korean, though. I am also interested in the present-day unification/peace movement, so I am really motivated by that to try and improve my level.

Unfortunately I have a hard time getting into a lot of the things that seem to motivate many people to study Korean, so I haven’t participated much in learning communities before.

I haven’t taken any tests to rate my level of Korean, so I’m not sure how to quantify it.

Hmm, what else? Here’s some songs I like:

    사계

    일요일이 다 가는 소리

    들어라 양키야

    꽃병을 만든다

This first song has been haunting me since yesterday, wow. It’s eerie how the music somehow exactly resembles a sewing machine

Thanks! I tried taking it just now, but at the end it never loaded my results, unfortunately. Maybe I’ll try again later, or try a different test.
