i think it’s just weird that people talk about “refugees” and “orphans” as if the bulk of gzd users only posted exclusively in 1 sub.
or that the other subs are really that much different, minus the communism. there are many subs that shit on gzd for being childish or has annoying shitposts or larpers when they are really, and ironically, not that much different themselves.
i think the critical factor is that gzd grew a little too large for a sub that goes against the approved narratives. and hence a threat that needed to be neutralized before it became a real danger.
