It absolutely is, and part of that fame was made not because of the full speech but because of the two clips I mentioned in the OP. The stain, which probably occurred because the tape wasn’t stored properly and got exposed to the elements, actually gives it its personality. If you see even one frame of that whole footage you know it’s the yellow Parenti speech. Most people don’t even know when and where he gave that speech.

However, even more people (even on the ML side!) are not aware of who Parenti is. I’ve also seen the clip about poor countries very recently on r/nextfuckinglevel where it was highly awarded, and on tiktok too. I feel if we can offer a higher quality recording (especially in regards to the sound), maybe it will make it more shareable and introduce more people to Parenti. Having that high-pitched hum in your ear constantly has 100% turned away some people… and tbh I’m thinking that the yellow stain probably has too (yellow stain = old = not relevant today).

The next step would be to clip out several key parts of that speech, because there are only two online that I know of. The whole thing is incredible, he says a lot of stuff and everything rings true. He’s such a charismatic speaker that the whole one hour and a half just flies by, but again if we can offer 5 minute clips of the speech, it may help introduce Parenti and communism to more people.
