Risk of Rain 2’s expansion inspired me to go back to play the first game again, and damn is it hard. I’ve managed to grab two Monsoon victories (Miner and Sniper) in spite of that. The timer is definitely much more important in the first game, you’ve gotta stay on the move. It doesn’t help that a lot of the enemy patterns are hard to distinguish through all the pixelated noise.
