Ah slitherine, one can only dream of the day when they start publishing to Linux.
Btw, how’s GGWITE2 on proton? I had a decent interest in it, but never picked it up. Shadow Empire after some quick fixes worked very well, mostly bug free. For something lighter and more tatical than strategical I really love Pike and Shot campaings. This one works like a charm and is very fun.
A little screen flicker but never on the map and is not distracting at all. The launcher doesn’t do Linux pathing right so you have to delete the launcher.exe and symlink the game executable to it. It has so far only caused a problem with one update. Also, only proton 5.0-10 works.
I’ll be starting a War in the Pacific campaign once my WITE2 gets to December 8th. I have to run that on a Windows VM but it’s old so rund well.
War in the West works out of the box with Proton. I’ll start that in 1943 and play all three concurrently.
I also like RimWorld and Wildermyth, but don’t have the graphics card to stream them. They work well locally though.
