I wonder if the deal was agreed over the summer, and they just chose to announce it now for some reason. Doesn’t seem like the best timing though.

The follow request for the sub was showing as “pending approval” forever, so I just cancelled it and am now following gunnersbot instead. We’ll see if that changes anything.

I know lemmy.world seems to have adopted dark mode as the default, but is there any way for this sub to change it back to light mode? Dark mode here makes it unusable for people with astigmatism.
Did the theme on lemmy.world change to dark mode by default for people who aren’t logged in? Makes it really hard to read for people with astigmatism.
