That’s a really interesting point. Neat!

That’s better than I was thinking. But still, nothing beats “infinite”.
Did they ever fix the game having a maximum map size of like 10.000 by 10.000? That limitation always seemed to put it at a disadvantage compared to Minecraft, for larger communities
This one made me burst out laughing, very creative
My dude, you’re posting on a social comments platform. If you don’t want other people to comment, then why post here?
Not that I in any way support Israel’s campaign of violence, but I’m not sure these kinds of posts from and questionable news sources are doing anyone any favors. For those of us who already oppose the Israeli campaign, there’s nothing new here. For those who do, these kinds of sensationalist posts just push them farther back into their views.
The best case scenario is to open peoples’ eyes to the harm Israel is doing and convince them to change their opinion, which a more neutral has a better chance of doing.
Pretty sure this is the same as every other messaging app - metadata is never protected information. The contents of the messages may be encrypted to some extent (which on Telegram they are, not end-to-end as with iMessage, but they’re not plain text), however your IP address, username, etc are subject to subpoena on any messaging platform.
Yup. Piracy is bad so make sure to avoid that. Specifically, do not search for “Yuzu 1734” and combine it with “Firmware 18.1” and “Prod keys 18.1”, because if you did that you would be all set to pirate switch games. So to repeat, definitely don’t search for these things. Now you know what to avoid.
Why do all the Polynesian countries support Israel so strongly?
How specific is this question? Feels like it needs scoping. Otherwise like, it could be anything from like macOS to Firefox to WhatsApp
It was more for upgrading 386 computers from 1992-1994 if I remember right. Or maybe we had a 486. I dunno. It was definitely pre Pentium. Back in the dark ages!
Yep I had 95 on floppy. It was like 30 disks. That installation was hell, you had to sit there and swap disks for several hours.
So that basically means that Firefox and Safari are the only two unaffected, since it seems like everything else is Chromium these days. Yikes.
I say this as a Swift developer (and Obj-C before that), who’s built apps on Apple platforms for 20 years. I love the language and I love developing for Mac and iOS. But why would you reach for Swift for a cross platform browser? The support on Windows and Android is in its infancy, and it’s not a widely known or used language in the context of system programming. I’d never write a mobile app in any other language, but I’d never write a browser engine in this one.
I think the ideal solution is to leave. But you don’t have to fight to get to super competitive places. There are a lot of other countries out there with easier immigration policies, including developed western countries. Instead of obvious places like the US, UK, etc - have you considered less visited but developed countries like Argentina, Uruguay, Hungary, Latvia, whatever? These are likely a lot easier to immigrate to.
I didn’t mean for gaming specifically, probably should have used a transition statement. For creative and professional use cases, macOS is still far far better than Windows. For gaming yeah that’s not your platform, Linux is.
Windows 11 is a strong motivator. I suspect like many other people, the only reason I was keeping Windows around was gaming. But thanks to Proton and the Steam Deck, the number of games in my library that won’t run on Linux is vanishingly small. I deleted my Windows partition a few months ago and haven’t looked back.
Install Linux or buy a Mac, fuck Windows.
Well, that depends. If it’s a board of puppets to continue Israeli rule, then no. If it’s a decently representative cross section of Palestinians who have a mandate to transition to independent statehood and democratic rule, then yes. But I really doubt it’ll be the second one.
I was reading gov.pt but this is better for Lemmy since it’s in English. And yea I agree. I also don’t think €80.000 is “ultra rich” by any means lol, especially with our taxes you wouldn’t be living a luxurious life in Lisbon with that nowadays. 250k+ it makes sense.
Okay, but I mean, 60 million versus 30 thousand. The former is effectively “infinite”, I mean how many hours would it take you to walk that far?
