Dual boot, don’t switch.
Dual boot, don’t switch.
So your answer is: a free-for-all on the spectrum.
Radio broadcasters and equipment manufacturers have an incentive to cooperate on this.
The biggest and most powerful broadcasters, TV and commercial radio stations, have a strong interest in actively jamming their competitors’ broadcasts. The same goes for mobile phone networks, it’s in their interests to disrupt the operation of their competitors’ networks.
At the moment, those activities are suppressed by authority.
hyperloop or whatever they’re calling it. The freaking tunnel for cars
You’re conflating two different things. Musk’s tunnels and the hyperloop are different ideas.
So capitalist countries harmed other countries and hence in the meme capitalism has a gun. Therefore in the meme, communism should also have a gun.
I asked:
“Why does capitalism have a gun but communism doesn’t?”
That question hasn’t been answered.
radio and wireless will not exist unless a super wealthy individual sets it up and maintains it
Uh… my wifi router does not need a super wealthy individual to set it up and maintain it.
802.11 is created by the ieee lan/man standards comnitee, which takes input from a lot of groups to formulate the standard.
The standard doesn’t specify which frequency bands to use in which locations though, governments do that. So your response doesn’t address OP’s question.
The gun is a metaphor for, among other things, US backed coups. Sanctions against Cuba are another example.
That doesn’t answer the question.
This is an old meme format
LOL I know what the meme is.
were bandits prior 1949
Envisions bar fight scene from Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
I don’t understand this analogy. Why does capitalism have a gun but communism doesn’t?
But in a bizarre twist, the confirmation came only after the EU mission categorically denied the Armenian claim, going as far as to publish a graphic branding the information “false.” The EU mission retracted the message shortly afterward.
Uhhh… wut?
there’s a class war happening right now
LOL you say that like it’s something new and hasn’t been going on since the start of human societies.
“Business exploits workers, news at 10!”
yawn
I find it interesting that the salad gets no mention at all, as if it’s not part of the meal, like it’s not real food.
How the fsck is this news?
The legality of re-distributing the leaked source is questionable at best.
LOL no shit. I’ll steer well clear of that one I think.
messages would still go through Google and their servers
As I understand it, there is nothing Google-specific in the standard. At the moment, Google is the main (only?) provider of RCS services to mobile networks though so data is highly likely to go through Google servers. However, that’s not mandated by the standard, it’s just a consequence of the current state of the market.
Don’t think it’s an amanita because it doesn’t have spots on the cap (which I believe is one of the ways to distinguish). Could be wrong though.
Exactly. In radio frequency terms, this is the same thing as civil war. And we institute governments in order to prevent that situation.
See for example, the Seattle CHOP/CHAZ which very quickly descended into violence, ultimately ending in an escape to government and police.
The point is that this won’t work.
At least in terms of radio spectrum allocation, that’s what we have now.
This is nothing specific to large corporations. I can envision amateur radio operators entering into feuds or disrupting others out of spite or jealousy. “Ruining things” is normal human behaviour. Like the killers in Seattle.
