  • Pre shave: Hattric

    Razor: Merkur 15c

Blade: who knows, it was there, I forgot which one it is and it has no branding, but it still worked

    Brush: Mühle Rytmov Pure badger

    Soap: Mühle Aloe Vera

    Aftershave: Seinz. AS Balsam

I’ve made a very nice lather out of this soap, it helped a lot with the shave. Just a bit of skin irritation, which is understandable with a razor like this. But after I applied the balsam, I feel great.

    8.5/10 👍👍

  • Pre-Shave: Hattric

    SR: Beviro closed comb

    Blade: Mühle (1)

    Soap: Proraso Red

    Brush: Nom Gustav Pure Badger

    After-Shave: Speick

This Beviro safety razor is most likely made by Mühle, the head is the same, the store that has created the brand Beviro also is heavily focused on the Mühle brand, the Mühle blade should be included in the package (it was not in mine). The head also very closely resembles the Mühle closed comb head (same shape of the “teeth” on the edges of the main plate).

It was a very mild, but still effective shave. The safety razor is pretty simple, not the most affordable one and the availability outside the czech republic might be limited, but I like the design and it simply works. The major downside is the handle that is not slippery per se, but also not grippy.

Overal score of this shave: 8/10

  • Today, a conservative shave…

Hattric pre-shave Böker Barberette Pro + Gillette Platinum Weleda shaving cream Golddachs Pure Badger brush Hattric after-shave

I need a bit of a healing time after my last few experiments so I only did a down and side stroke. My skind already feels much better. That Golddachs brush is something I like. OK, it does not make a very fluffy foam, especially not from a shaving cream, but it looks nice, it was not expensive (I think I’ve only paid like 15 €) and the feeling on my face is pleasant.

  • A morning shave experiment, a 💩 blade in a good razor and a good blade in a bad razor. Still better results with the good razor.

Good razor: Golddachs Butterfly+ FlyDear (Chinese blade from SheIn) 7/10

Bad razor: Aveo butterfly + DOVO (second use) 2/10

Soap: DOVO Berlin Barber 5/10 - this won’t be my favorite soap, I think - too bad, it wasn’t cheap ☹️

Brush: Omega 10015 7/10 - basic boar with a wooden handle, works nicely, for the price I can’t really complain

    Pre shave: Hattric 7/10

    Aftershave: Hattric 7/10

My skin was still more irritated on the side where I used the Aveo razor. Can NOT recommend it #wetshaving

BTW, 7/10 is a very good rating, not a WOW effect, but nice and could be used as a daily driver, not everything needs to be 12/10 😂😂😂

  • A shave. Well, shave - more like a bloodbath. Inferno. Stalingrad 1942 was just a demo compared to what had happened in my bathroom.

A new razor, by Müller (German store) and their private brand Aveo. And the included blade. First I was impressed by how smooth and gentle it is. But when I used it against the grain, the horror had started. I can’t recommend it, at least not this razor/blade combo. A good splash of Pitralon to cool it down. Golddachs soap was excellent, as usual.

Razor: Müller Aveo - Butterfly (TTO) Blade: Aveo? (included with the razor) Brush: Aveo Soap: Golddachs Sandelholz (Sandalwood) Preshave: Hattric Aftershave: Pitralon + Alpa 378 (I used Alpa on the upper lip where the damage was the worst, to heal the skin)

    3/10
