Same experience with my printer! Gave me some motivation to finish off some of the projects I’ve disregarded since there’s some new shiny light to it. The printer has been going non-stop (while it’s not needing to be maintained) and I’ve made enclosures, costumes, frames, and molds that got me back into programming, crafting, painting, and masonry. Glad to have such split attention sometimes, lol.
Bookmarked in case of deep inspiration, thank you!
Hell yeah, I’ve been making G&Ts for my quick mixer over the past few years - it’s so good. That Earl Grey cocktail sounds absolutely divine for the last bit of warm weather we have here, thank you!
Yes! Your knowledge will last and it’s insane how many hobbies have coinciding skills. Keeping it fresh allows me to stay motivated and as long as I’m doing something, I couldn’t care less if it’s painting or soldering or whateverthefuckelse at that moment :D
What’s been your favorite cocktail as of recently to have on a normal night?
That sounds incredibly trippy to see in theaters at 6-7. Kinda jealous of your story!
Really, really depends on your option on a lot of things to consider that one.
God, I would love that so much
Eh, partially agreed but Adobe does have a stranglehold on the market due to proprietary encoding. The world still runs on their licensed filetypes and that’s a big hurdle for FOSS to overcome. A paradigm shift could happen but a lot is stacked up against it for now. Certainly not an issue that’s unable to be solved but we need some seriously clever minds dedicated to the problem.
Been working on a personal project to display my Spotify playing info onto a LED matrix display (with lots of visual goodies) and allow for physical buttons to control playback, lookup the artist on Wikipedia, open their bandcamp profile, and eventually to find what songs they do not have on Spotify.
It’s still in its infancy but it’s allowing me to work on blending software, hardware, and design all together in a fun, interactive way.
I don’t have a TV in my living room but listen to music 24/7 and my wife would like a way to see what weird shit we’re listening to.
I swear whenever I mention I need my Adobe programs everyone is so quick to offer alternatives but NOTHING will be an alternative to a .psd/.ai file made in Photoshop or Illustrator. I need to make vectors in Illustrator, texture then in Photoshop, send the layers to After Effects, make some more vectors in Illustrator, use the same psd in InDesign… I can go without the cloud or streamlined UI but I really need that interoperability layer to function. Any time spent fiddling is costing me money as a bottom line.
And as someone who’s been spending hours learning FreeCAD, you’re really hitting me where I’m sensitive 😅
Lovely reply; this is not the simplest answer but it’s the truth.
It seems to be about yelling at others that “you’re not a real programmer!!!” mixed with being so “technically correct” my eyes can no longer roll the same way they used to.
To add to this, the green that you see is from the offset of primary colors creating the dark patch underneath. Since the magenta is nudged in the positive y direction and the blue is nudged in the negative y direction (and a slight positive x), we get a cool color mixing effect where the dark hues from his hair are present on his neck but it is without the magenta being mixed in. So all we get is the product of strong quantities blue and yellow which is green! Even more apparent due to the situational contrast.
I want his babies
Absolutely agreed. Something facing the public like this is supposed to be comfortable and familiar first and foremost. Works like a charm if you know what you’re doing but we’re not able to expect that from the general library computer owners…
Or vet bills 😩
