142·1 year agoI don’t think you know what the curve actually looks like if you think this is “behind the curve”. The majority of states have 0 paid sick leave by law, CA already had 3 days and is increasing it to 5.
2·1 year agoIt works well in California. Just had one the other morning for a 4.2.
Depending on how far away it is I’ll have a few seconds notice. This one was really close so the alert came in almost at the same time. Last year I had about 10-15 seconds notice for a 6.4.
Lost his primary in 2014 then resigned before finishing the term.
Because they don’t want him to be speaker, and more importantly he publicly said he would not work with them to keep his speakership.

Even in public spaces schools are limited with what they can say or publish about kids FERPA. Including pictures. They must have explicit parental consent.

He didn’t. They didn’t get what they wanted, they got terms that had already been rejected by the majority and many of them still don’t have sick days despite the misleading headlines saying otherwise.

The ads aren’t the problem. The chosen ad network that invades your privacy is.
The problem doesn’t go away by paying for it. The developer is still using the privacy invading ad network for everyone who doesn’t pay. They have the option to not use that ad network but that would result in less ad revenue.

Why would you support (buy) software that does something you believe is wrong?
The developer chose to put in ads and use Google’s ad network. That was not a requirement, it was a choice.
Disney already wrote off 90% of what was canon at the time and turned it into “legends” when they bought rights. They can do it again.
