Yes. It’s my meditation moment. I don’t have to think about anything other than my posture and movement. I just put on the music I like and go. It also helps relieve tension and frustration when something bad happens during your day. And I feel great afterwards. That post-workout high is real.
No. I switched to DevOps and it’s worse.
That fucking tall gangly pale man with a wide smile that comes during the rainstorm.
Poltergeist. Hated that fucking movie so much. The tall gangly pale man with the wide smile and ghastly voice, that… Thing in the spirit world. Etc
It keeps changing with the job. I’ve used Eclipse a whole bunch of times for Java projects, IntelliJ a couple of times. Pycharm for Python. Vim for Bash and a bunch of other stuff. QT Creator for some C++ with the QT framework. Now it’s mostly VSCode.
It’s true. There’s a real class and generational conflict going on in Canada.
Between the baby boomers who hold the majority of the wealth by sitting on expensive housing property, a handful of actual rich people who are the only ones able to purchase housing property, and the rest of us who can barely afford either rent or property, there is a lot of tension going on.
I mean there are now two generations who aren’t able to make ends meet even with high education and what are supposed to be well paying jobs. The millennials are reaching 40 years old now and are still trying to save for a down payment on a god damn home. While gen Z is being jerked around by receiving shit pay because they’re young adults who supposedly “lack experience”.
Yeah, but in the end all those people get their orders from higher up, and in the end they execute the vision of the people in charge. All of this only to get their pay to be able to afford to live with a roof over their head and food on the table.
Yeah, but there aren’t enough facilities made to treat those and turn them into compost. They take an extraordinarily long time and constant oxygenation to decompose.
Right. You can easily do a reverse lookup to an IP address and see what hostname it is.
