At least there’s two three four of us.
At least there’s two three four of us.
That was an interesting read, thank you.
That’s Microsoft in a nutshell for ya.
He’s the only reason I ever managed to get into any sort of coding at all.
I was a decently rated chess player (nationally) in my youth and I have level 5 aphantasia i.e. I see nothing at all.
While I absolutely cannot play or picture game states without a physical board in front of me like most pros can, I had no great difficulty otherwise.
I practiced with a friend at the same general skill level that was very good at playing sans voir, which incidentally is how I realized I don’t have the same mental imagery as him. This was ~25 years ago, and I didn’t run into the word aphantasia until around 2020.
I did already tell you that’s not my aim here. I live somewhere with those concrete policies already, so it can’t be impossible. I simply told you you’re an abhorrent person, nothing else. The general sentiment in this thread seems to be in agreement with me.
This also has the added benefit of wasting your time.
Who’s the one with the lacking reading comprehension, again?
What I find funny is you trying to defend an indefensible point of view with nothing but stubbornness and bad semantics.
We all know what you think by now, it’s glaringly obvious. I simply refuse to even acknowledge your demented talking points because they lead to endless monologue about how it’s impossible to fix shit because reasons. Not even valid reasons either, but bad faith bullshit that a child can see through at this point.
You have to understand that nobody gives a shit about you licking the boots of rich assholes. I refuse to believe you’re dumb enough to think otherwise.
But hey, I’ve been wrong before.
You think people living on the brink of starvation are funny?
I guess that tracks with your view of the world.
Those same “economic experts” that, again, perpetuate the late stage capitalism bullshit we apparently can’t do without, because reasons?
Yeah, I bet you agree with those. No doubt.
Do you have a single original thought in your head, or is it all just demented talking points?
I’d argue that you’re the one living in some sort of Rand-esque lala-land.
I mean, it almost sounds like you believe yourself to be some sort of benevolent economic Ubermensch or something. It’s quite jarring.
I never said I had any plans to implement any of this. I just wanted to call you out on your bullshit.
If your logic was sound, which it isn’t, understanding something would be the same thing as agreeing with it.
I understand your text, I just don’t agree with the underlying motion. I don’t understand how or why a functional adult would have your opinions.
Maybe you’re young and/or delusional, maybe you’re some sort of bad actor or perhaps you just don’t give a shit about other people. Whichever it is it’s coming through pretty blatantly.
As other people pointed out, you’re taking the “politically correct” way, but it still leads to the same endgame.
You know who else avoids ever having to change things by saying it’s impossible?
I’ll help you; it’s the ones profiting from the current system and for some reason you’re defending that system and the ones that perpetuate it.
You questioned my reading comprehension several times and I’d dare say that qualifies as a personal attack. The problem isn’t my comprehension, it’s your half-assed rhetoric.
I didn’t expect you to do anything else than continue that particular charade, and you didn’t disappoint.
You’re not doing anything original though, you sound juuuust like all the other temporarily embarrassed millionaires (and real ones, for that matter) that vote against anything even remotely humane.
Free lunch for the children? Fuck no. A wage you can prosper on? Think of the shareholders! Adequate nutrition? Eat cake, or something. etc.
You may think your arguments are completely normal, but they are anything but, no matter how much bullshit you try to spin. It’s pretty telling that all your arguments so far have been personal attacks and not much else.
After all I’m just one of those poor people that doesn’t know his place, right?
Nah, it’s you. Hiding your argument behind semantics and policy is even worse than coming out and saying you think all the poor people should die - at least then you’d be honest, instead of these theatrics.
Sure, that isn’t hard at all, unless you got your head stuck up your ass.
You question the need to have adequate nutrition, access to affordable (or preferably free, as it is here) childcare, affordable housing and transport and to top it off, you seem to have something against a wage you can actually live on, instead of barely getting by month-to-month.
So yes, you definitely dehumanize a vast majority of the human beings that try to survive on this planet, and you do it in a really ugly way, too.
Shame on you.
The way you dehumanize people is pretty abhorrent.
The man is a swedish speaking Finn originally, it kinda comes with the territory. We might technically be a minority but we’re still as Finnish as the rest of them (to a certain degree at least).
I’m glad we agree, and to be fair you were completely right; my original post wasn’t as clear as it could’ve been.
Him being a pretty smart guy overall surely has at least some sort of continuity planned.
