I had a good time in an Airbnb years ago, too, but it’s gotten more expensive over time. It’s not even that much cheaper than hotels now whenever I check.
And we have to admit that while they serve tourists like us, it’s costing locals their chance to get housing when landlords are buying up units and houses and saving them all to rent out on Airbnb.

Well that’s terrifying. I’m starting to think you can’t have a real democracy without strong recall abilities on politicians. The fact that these people are untouchable in office no matter what we find on them is insane.
It definitely seems like a good idea for education services, weather services, local municipal services, and basically all important government institutions to make important announcements and updates via a service they can host themselves or is more distributed, like Mastadon, instead of via Twitter where they have to obey the whims of people like Musk.

Sounds like from the article they actually are protesting to give less people the right to vote. That sounds worse.

I think I saw someone mention them, but I can’t find them now. They’re pretty silly, but also their songs are unironically fun to listen to as well.

I’m guessing she got the job because Hasbro approved of those plans for profitability, though. It all seemed standard corporate affair. Hopefully they learned from their mistake, but I think this means they’ll just find a CEO to squeeze money out of pumping bad video games or some shit. Companies always learn the wrong lessons from their success.
In fact, they already learned the OGL lesson before, so it’s dumb they had to learn it again. They’ll probably have to repeat another one of these lessons in 10 years or so. Hopefully until then, the company is slightly better, but we’ll see who steps up.
