Does the character mean to cry “Attica”? Like people who yelled it in the 70s, referencing the prison revolt?

My advice is to use a body wash or soap with salycitic acid. It’s in products for preventing or treating acne - the salycitic acid kills the bacteria that causes body odor. You can also apply a toner with salycitic acid directly to your armpits (Stridex pads work well for this - they even make ones that are larger for use on the body). I do this and have zero B.O. Some people use other antibacterial soaps like Hibiclens or Paroxyl.
Also make sure that you are wearing clean clothes (wearing the same tshirt a couple of days in a row is taking a chance).
ETA: This won’t help reduce sweating but it will help with the bacteria that feeds on the sweat.
I’m American and I can’t think of a comedy show that makes fun of Indian food. Can you name one of them so I can check it out?
I’d say most medium to large sized cities in the US have Indian restaurants, so it’s not so unusual.
Maybe just focus on limiting food highest in Isoleucine.
I guess the takeaway is to make sure you have a will.
Hmm. Is this supposed to be affecting everyone using Firefox with adblockers? I just played a video on FF with uBO. Worked fine for me with no delays. Maybe because I searched for the video using DDG and watched it via DDG (meaning I did not click through and watch it on YT)?
Can you say where you’re located because that sounds like a screaming deal. I’m in NYC though, so everything sounds affordable to me.
If you’re looking for stuff for your face, I also recommend the following Korean beauty items. Nows a good time to buy them from kbeauty online retailers because most are doing deals and free shipping (November 11 is a Korean holiday):
Unless you want a brand name IUD? I got a Mirena covered, no problem, in the US.
If you like Cetaphil and Cerave, you will also like Vanicream and Eucerin.
Dr. Bronners liquid Castille soap. I’ve tried others but they are not as concentrated or as moisturizing. Great diluted for shaving legs.
Sensodyne Pronamel Intensive Enamel Repair Toothpaste. I’ve reversed three cavities that were forming by using this toothpaste.
Persil detergent. I use other detergents but always have this on deck for tough stains or funky items.
Jockey women’s cotton underwear. There’s a specific cut that they have that’s flattering and comfortable.
I also suspect that they mark up the prices for goods they encourage to be stolen. I was in a Walgreens and saw some Stridex pads for $22 (they go for around $4.50 on Amazon). That way if it gets stolen they can claim huge losses.
My husband and I had two kids because we (1) both have union jobs with decent worklife balance, and (2) had high quality yet reasonably priced daycare in our neighborhood. (It still cost us more than our mortgage when both were in daycare.) If we didn’t have that we’d have only one kid and still make some pretty big sacrifices (we both really wanted kids). I truly don’t know how other people do it without kind, generous family members nearby or very high paying jobs. ETA: We know A LOT of families with only one kid.
My only worry about unintended consequences is that if this becomes a broader program (say, everybody gets $1000/mo, not just families that meet aome.kind of criteria), then prices for basic goods like rents will go up (i could see rents going up exactly $1000). Otherwise who could argue how well this kind of cash supplement works?
Lots of good recommendations here.
But if you’re willing to try YouTube again, you can watch seasons of the British panel game show Taskmaster. The contestants are almost all stand up comics. The challenges are extremely creative, entertaining and a bit twisted, and the solutions the contestants come up with are often really brilliant. There are 16 seasons and there are versions from other countries like New Zealand.
How old are your kids? Would it be appropriate for a 10 year old?
I saw this advice on an IG post (https://www.instagram.com/reel/CxBpKwrSblD/?igshid=MTc4MmM1YmI2Ng==).
This is for a desktop computer. I’m adding in the brackets what I believe are the actions they are taking in the IG video if you don’t want to click the link:
“If you’re on a website that’s forcing you to log in, [right click over the article and select] Inspect Elements, highlight over [the page and select] Delete [and then select] Node.”
I have not tried this myself. If you have clearer directions please reply to this comment!
This might be a wild idea but how do you feel about asking you friends, male and female, if they know of any single women and for them to set you up on some dates? A few are bound to know someone and something might come out of it (at the very least an amusing anecdote).
I’m American so I thought I didn’t know any Black British historical figures. Thanks, OP, for posting about this because it’s inspiring me to educate myself on the subject.
I would encourage almost any American to get a remote job (or three) and move abroad to a country that has a visa for remote workers and good healthcare. It might be the only way some workers will be able to save and retire some day.
