Piracy is free
When I read the title i though you were talking about actual wasps and I was excited to read about how you wage a cold war with insects

Dota 2@lemmy.ml•All The International 2023 teams have now been confirmed, all qualifiers are done
1·2 years agoThey dropped out round 1 lower bracket in 2/3 majors and did even worse in dreamleague/Riyad by dropping out in groups 3/3 times. Only decent performance is Lima where they got 4th, so they have potential but it’s worrying because that was the first tournament of the season and they went downhill from there. At least they don’t have a target on their backs so maybe they can catch the other teams unprepared for them

1·2 years agoGG didn’t win Riyad so it wouldn’t be in a row, unless you are only counting valve tournaments
$20 for a movie is way too much and it also doesn’t require $1000 hardware to watch it
All kinds of sports equipment falls in that price range and can entertain you just as long, if not longer
Launching without hashtags was pretty weird, 0 discoverability. I didn’t want to use my instagram account for threads so i made a new one and it was pretty much impossible to discover people to follow. Also the content was not great, I wouldn’t really count on the instagram community to deliver good content especially in text form
If Lemmy continues to grow I’ll continue to spend most of my time here, but that seems like it’s no guarantee
Imo there’s enough people on here already. It would be nice if it could grow to enable more niche communities, but for my current usage there’s more than enough people
this could be great, or it could end up being another nail in the coffin for TI
TobitoReddit@lemmy.ml•What’s with the cynicism towards Lemmy on r/RedditAlternatives and Reddit in general?
1·3 years agoBoth. Federation could certainly be done better, but in general i don’t think it’s necessary and i would always consider it as a negative. The main issue i have right now other than discoverability is the unnecessary cross instance drama with instances blocking each other for no real reason
TobitoReddit@lemmy.ml•What’s with the cynicism towards Lemmy on r/RedditAlternatives and Reddit in general?
6·3 years agoThe main thing for me is that i dislike the federation. Also the UI is a bit ugly but that’s easily fixable

2·3 years agoIt’s between 25-30C during the day, with at least a little bit of rain every day. Which means the humidity is unusually high which kinda sucks, but otherwise I can’t complain since we are finally getting a proper spring after what felt like 2 more months of mild winter

1·3 years agoI don’t like the federated approach, but the community here is nice. I would probably use both if reddit steps back
Season 3 for Re Zero and the Genshin Impact anime

Not only do I not care about the decentralization, I dislike it. When instances started banning each other last year I stopped using lemmy and I only come back occasionally.
