Nice! Hope this time the message reaches more people, last year I saw a lot of commenters that would’ve participated but didn’t know about it.

Not really, at least on Wikipedia the page for review bombing and the one listing significant ones make no distinction between actually having played the game/watched the movie or not.
Aren’t playlists still broken? I remember shuffle not working, repeating some songs and then going off with unrelated videos before the playlist was even over.
It’s about plates and sql injection.
And (by how I understood it) the point of the I1I1 plate was that it wasn’t easily discernible and the camera couldn’t identify it correctly to link it to the owner, but the police knew who it was nonetheless because it’s always the same guy that already got caught. I might be wrong though, it’s just a funny comic and isn’t probably meant to be looked into that deeply.
“He had it coming,” says Christopher Null, a journalist who has written previously for WIRED about the challenges his last name presents.
This is peak nottheonion material
You also have to “change facts” to have the Bobby Tables xkcd apply here, because this is about plates and not children.
It doesn’t have to apply 100% to be a relevant xkcd, they just posted it because, like op’s pic, it’s about a person trying to be clever by messing with speed cameras, but everyone would know whose fault is it the second time it happens because of how weird the plate is.
Your one obviously applies more, but there’s no need to gatekeep.
Pretty sure Life Expectancy and Literacy Rate are both higher in 2024 than in 2004, whether you look at US or Worldwide statistics.
Most of the other metrics aren’t really measurable, and while I agree with some of those, you definitely didn’t factcheck before writing.
…or you invest the money in actually making your platform decent and adding features mods have been asking for years. But then big number doesn’t go up so it’s a bad idea I guess.
I’m personally against it lasting so long. It’s fun because it’s short, if it lasts that much it starts turning into a chore.
Failure to comply with the European regulations around illegal content could result in fines worth 6% of a company’s annual revenue.
“I remind you that following the opening of a potential investigation and a finding of non-compliance, penalties can be imposed,” Breton wrote.
The second might be just talk but the first one is very much “something”.
Well, more money for the EU and less for the Saudis wouldn’t be a bad outcome either.
…how exactly is any country higher than North Korea? Aren’t they basically all slaves?
Unless I missed them, I don’t see comparisons to war veterans, at most the second one compares them to civilian survivors.
In any case, I don’t think anyone is questioning the fact that sex workers need way safer working conditions, it was the very point of the first commenter. “Treating them like other workers” was meant in a good sense, as they’re currently treated worse.
I see what they did with the “size”
Seems like the voice is very “tuned” in this, I wonder why? Her regular voice is great.
Still, love the song and the video is beautiful, that was just a pet peeve.
Huh, that does make sense. The human body does have some flaws but it’s incredible how it developed these little things to work so well.
Sure, but evolution occurs over millennia, I don’t think it really mattered 5000 years ago when women were nearly slaves in most of the world.
Plus, it’s a system that overall hinders reproduction, while it’s great that it exists in a developed society wouldn’t it be a “dangerous” trait from an evolutionary standpoint? Are there any other animals with systems that dampen arousal? I’m really ignorant about all of this but it’s making me question my little knowledge of how nature works lol
There’s literally a pheromone in womens tears that dampens arousal in men.
What the FUCK
I mean that’s functional but how the hell did evolution do that
Doubt it, at most I think they’ll be treated like animals.
Is there even a fund for Lemmy and Mastodon in general? I thought people donated to the single instances.
