  • I really like it so far, especially with the new apps. I’m using Boost and I honestly can’t tell the difference between this and the old Boost for Reddit. The transition is really smooth. Oh, and everything on Lemmy feels very intuitive and the people seem less toxic.

And Mastodon…I really like it. I’ll post something with the right hashtags and suddenly there’s a conversation between a bunch of people with the same interests that goes on for weeks!

  • I’m from Europe, and for years I’d been using WhatsApp because everyone expected me to even though I didn’t feel comfortable using it at all (because I care about my privacy and apparently not all of my friends/family members do). At some point I was forced to accept new terms that basically said it was okay for them to sell my data and that’s where I drew the line and told everyone that I would no longer be using WhatsApp and that if they wanted to reach me they could call me, text me or message me on Telegram. I immediately uninstalled it.

I noticed friends and family found it a bit odd and inconvenient that I’d stopped using WhatsApp. And many companies seem to use WhatsApp to contact their customers (why can’t they just email me instead…) and it seems they automatically assume everyone uses it, which I find a bit annoying. But ever since uninstalling it no one has been able to convince me to reinstall it and I plan to keep it that way.

  • I think it did/does make picking skills more meaningful because you can’t just pick any skill unless you want to respec. I didn’t like how Diablo 3 did it for that reason.

I think it’s nice that they made it easy enough to respec without having to start a new character just to try a different build.

However, I do wish they would add a confirm button before a skill point is actually used up when selecting a skill because that’d make it easier to plan out builds (though there are plenty of websites with build tools/calculators out there).

Drink a glass of water during your meals. And make sure you eat enough proteins. High protein diets are very effective.

If you’re craving chips, your body is telling you you need carbs. So get them from healthy sources of food instead. If you’re craving something like cheese or meat, your body is telling you you need proteins, so make sure you get them from healthy sources of food as well.

Avoid high carb food that doesn’t have a lot of nutrients. You will probably still feel hungry afterwards. Go for healthy food that makes you feel full and gives your body a good amount of nutrients.

And remember that healthy food can taste just as good. :)

  • I have an account and never posted anything because it feels intimidating to post my first…post there. (Do people on Mastodon call it post or is there a different word similar to Twitter’s ‘tweets’?).

It looks really good though, but I find it more intimidating than Lemmy / kbin!
