I agree with the original post. It’s what also killed it for me. Felt like the writers went for the lowest hanging fruit.

I mean it’s Star Trek, skin color, gender, sexual orientation, nobody cares about that. Be whoever you want to be, you will be accepted. To me that’s what Star Trek has always been about, you will always be included.

Don’t even remember when I stopped watching it, I tried a few episodes each season and I just gave up. Burnham has such a great smile but in all episodes she has a nervous breakdown and is always sad. At least that’s how I remember the series in my head. Everybody’s depressed. Don’t remember anything else.

Feels like the 4.0 version has been in alpha/beta for years now? I thought they abandoned the idea.

I do the same. I don’t care if there is an algorithm or not, I don’t care if you get 0,00001% more money. The end doesn’t justify the means. I am on a personal vendetta, every time I am on YT and I see a thumbnail like that or one with clickbait text or arrows. It’s instant don’t recommend channel. I don’t care if I am subbed to that channel or not. Stop finding excuses, we need a gram of human decency, stop removed yourself like that

ios is not really privacy friendly. It’s more the result of an amazing PR campaign. That plus the fact that Apple wasn’t really in the ad game but now it is slowly changing. In reality you are giving your data to Apple. You will say, yeah but Apple is ok, of course they are because they have great marketing. Google doesn’t and Google = privacy nightmare, which is also true.

I don’t know, I quite like the game. I wouldn’t rank it 4/10, more like a 7/10. I might be impartial because I love the space theme. Was never a big Skyrim fan because I am not big on fantasy.

From my point of view the game has big potential to be expanded upon and since Bethesda rarely releases games, I think they will improve it. I mean look at Fallout 76, it was in shambles and they kept working on it, sure it different since it’s a live game but still.

Don’t really get the CDPR comparisons and why they are back to being praised. They revamped the perks, added police and made some qol fixes, it’s the same shallow, not really a RPG game. Hate that people use Cyberpunk as an example, the game is already abandoned. Use No Man’s Sky if you want to make a comparison.

I swear they are using the same *Soon TM as Valve is using with Half-Life 3

I always install Linux, 1-2 times per year but in the end I always go back to Windows. I have apps which are Windows only but whenever I want to change display scaling to 125% on Linux, is when I slowly start losing interest in it.

Good luck, I guess? Got the first Google home, at first it was great, I was asking it tons of questions. Then the questions stopped, used it for turning on the lights and other automations. Then I installed Home Assistant and the only command Google Home got was to set a timer to know when to pull things out of the oven. Eventually I stopped doing that.

At the moment all Google/Nest Homes have their mic cut off, I only use them to stream music in my house from my NAS via Plex. So yeah…

NMS is one of my most played games with over 500hours. What experience does it offer better than Starfield? Outside of seamless planet travel, NMS is a lot less compared to Starfield. Everything is proc gen, the variety is pretty low.

Oh wow, we have reached this point in time. Some people tried to explain but nobody seems to care. I too use female/woman interchangeably, English is not my main language and personally I don’t see any of the 2 words as demeaning or one better than the other. You do realize the rest of the world doesn’t speak English at a native level so they might use words without attaching some hidden meaning behind them.

That’s stupid and illegal in Europe since you only want to unsubscribe from emails. The few sites for which the unsub button does nothing, I usually contact them and tell them they are breaking the EU law and if they don’t stop, I will report them. Works all the time.
