Real estate isn’t there… But all the money in the world is.
Help, my house is now worthless? 🙈

Isn’t the frontend stuff open source? So even if they change something, others might make a fork?
I took my truenas some months ago and installed proxmox on that server instead.
I can’t from your post figure out what you need truenas for? Proxmox runs zfs, etc?
I made an lxc container with samba to share the discs in proxmox.
Proxmox and use lxc containers, easy to do with scripts from here: https://tteck.github.io/Proxmox/
I’m running the app in an lxc on proxmox for unifi, works perfectly:)
I’m undecided about getting dedicated hardware for OpnSense. It would be nice when rebooting, but I don’t do that often. But then again, it runs fine on the server as a virtual medicine so no need for an extra machine to use power.
For now it will stay virtual. :)
I use unifi access points for wifi, and have an OpnSense router/firewall running on my server (proxmox).
That works really well, only negative ting is that if I reboot my server the internet is down while doing that. But that doesn’t happen very often.
I just installed immich today, but you need a server to selfhost it.
Seems really good though.
I used sync on Reddit myself also, but yes the 100 pricetag also made me look around for alternatives.
I ended up with infinity and I really like it 💪
I think the no third party apps on Reddit is the best thing ever for fediverse - even if I wanted to return, I can’t :)
I agree it’s over, I moved here and don’t care about Reddit anymore. :)
Living in Denmark, it’s always so odd for me when health insurance is somehow connected to your job… Why?
Health is needed for anyone, both people who work and not. Why it only makes sense for everyone to have access for it, and everyone paying for it over taxes.
Keeping it connected with work is poodle giving the employers more power than they should have - they should not have any power over healthcare.
