Still regret voting for her in 2016. I shamed myself by doing it, and the fucking loser still had the nerve to lose.

Last night I made the mistake of hate-reading some butthole liberal vote-shaming thread where they were having a moan about 2016 again, and I must have forgotten how angry liberals can actually make me, because I’m still annoyed about it now.
Something about the moral condescension and grandstanding of a bunch of K-dolph genocide supporting worm-turd motherfuckers made me blow a fucking gasket.
One of the wildest things to me is that they can’t even be bothered to lie for our support. Like, they could literally just lie and get a lot of leftists on their side, but they’d rather tell us to suck their unwashed balls than even pay the slightest lip-service, and then get pissed at us later if they lose.
I drove myself mad last night reading some jackass thread of liberals still invoking 2016, in this particularly gross case, to blame the left (and anyone else who they thought didn’t support Clinton) for the state-murder of Marcellus Williams.
Like jesus fucking Christ, not only is that vile and nonsensical, but it’s stupid in any practical sense not to do something to win the votes of these people who you (wrongly) think cost you everything.
Act like you’re trying to build and maintain a relationship where the other person has the freedom to leave and isn’t a goddamn slave to you!
Pretend that you believe in democracy instead of acting entitled to people’s support when you offer them nothing but blame when an election goes badly for you!
My personal favorite from the Eugene Dabs collection.
Liberals: “It’s not a real problem, you’re just perceiving it incorrectly.” X 4000
God bless China.
If we can economically ruin Europe over Ukraine, maybe we can get a bunch of European immigrants coming to the US for work?
That’s John Mearsheimer’s big case for immigration. He talks about how developed countries get that “inverted pyramid” demographic spread (lots of old people, low birthrate, fewer young people) and how immigration is actually America’s edge over China and Russia in that regard.
America pisses it away, again.
Dumbass country reaps what it sows, continues to be ginormous dumbass country.
The message democrats have sent with their abandonment of the Palestinians and their rightward shift on immigration, is that they will discard you as soon as they think you’re a liability to them as a party. They absolutely will not drop their fucking nuts and fight for you.
Trying to say that they’ll protect LGBT rights – aside from the lack of evidence policy-wise over the years, even in democratic trifecta states – doesn’t hold up with how they’ve thrown other groups under the bus and excused it with “it’s actually to protect everyone else.”
That’s what they’ll say when they’re fucking you over too.
Mace (technically a brand, the generic term is “OC-spray”) is very good as a non-lethal self-defense option. Don’t let weird myths about “immunity” fool you either, 99% of people are very much not immune to that shit.
Wrestling / BJJ and boxing, with an emphasis on defensive skills (footwork, head movement, stopping takedowns, clearing collar-ties, getting up quickly, etc.).
The value of unarmed self defense in a world with weapons is that you aren’t guaranteed a clean draw of your weapon, so having something to bridge the gap can be helpful. That’s really all though – beyond that weapons are entirely superior, with a little asterisk next to knives because it’s too easy for a stronger person to turn your own knife against you.
Blocktube addon for firefox can mitigate some of this (I think it’s on other browsers too). Youtube is clearly doing stuff to fuck with the functionality of such add-ons though. Can’t easily block stuff from a context menu anymore, for example.
Somebody here described reddit as being “like a convention for people with office jobs in the 3rd Reich.” Good description.
I think there’s something to say about people getting lost a bit in the day-to-day stories and details. Whatever the most recent story is, is not always the most important thing in the course of the overall conflict.
It’s happened several times with Ukraine as well. People’s brains are too wired for immediacy when it comes to things that take a (miserably) long time to shake out.
Looking back, 2016 basically went the way it should have, in a pop-karma / moral sense.
I forget the exact stats on it, but gambling addiction is especially destructive to people’s lives even compared with other major addictions. Also, on a petty treat-fiend note, it has made sports so much fucking shittier.
