Since it’s already in our copy, it cause weird issues. We call it Déjà Vu!

Yup. The core aws services are solid and fucking impressive, but the only reason most of their value added stuff gets any customers is because they use the core stuff.theye mostly horrible and expensive.

That was not the case back with Java 6 ish. Even massive breakage between minor releases was common. you had to tell everybody exactly which jre to use and possibly ship it with your software
