Plenty if you study history and anthropology. How do you think humans lived for millenia before the invention of currency? You do realize thousands of years separate that from advent of trade and long after we settled down to form permanent communities?

Like for instance someone asking what you think of their cooking. I’m a cook. So I’m gonna give my honest opinion and even point out where it can be made better or if made a mistake they might not realize is a mistake in the first place. This is what I would want someone to do if I asked the question.

Was apart of a nation collective storytelling/role-playing group set in the Wold of Darkness ttrpg. It was called “the Accords” for those interested. Sadly no chapter in my local area anymore :(

Everyone was neurodivergent in someway. It was amazing and I had so much fun and considered each person a close friend. Group sadly had to disband when the old hats who kept track of it and knew how to run a chapter ended up moving for work.

Love being told “it took me a while to understand you. You just say what you mean and don’t hide anything. It’s kinda weird. You’re too honest and it creeps me out.”

That person is no longer an associate of mine.

Like a toddler being mad they have to put their toys away when done playing.

Metaverse is still vaguely alive.

Thing is that metaverse isn’t marketed as just a game, it is a tool for business as well.

Businesses still want it and are trying to make cases that it is just going through growing pains and some hurdles (citing crypto crash, elephant in the room that is GenAI, and regulatory problems) but man in the public eye people see it as the obvious scam that it is with only 300k active users, and a much lower CCU count.

Unfortunately businesses make the decisions in our culture so we just have to eat the shit they shovel and they own the kitchen until a time we decide to raid the fridge.

I just rinse all at once at the end real quick. I just fill up one sink of soapy water. Place I’m at now has a spray toggle and I love it.

When I say they let the water run, I mean running it to scrub dishes. Start to finish has the water running full blast.

Had roommates that when they did dishes would keep the water running instead of filling up the sink. Didn’t matter if it was even a few days worth of dishes.

I even mentioned to them about it, they said they just didn’t want to put their hands in a sink full of dirty dish water.

People really do be that senseless.
