The latest episode was good. But until that snoozefest.

Neat. Yeah the chuds are complaining about the Acoylte but I like the way it shows there’s random other force users floating about. Splinter Jedi. Random Witches (who are not the Dathomir kind) who call the force “the thread”.
Even the big villain it’s not clear if they’re actual Sith, a Sith wannabe, a Sith impersonator etc.
Wild. I just imagine a scene similar to Shogun when Blackthorne is yelling slurs at the Portuguese priest and the confused Japanese are like “aren’t these guys both Christians and foreigners?”, except it’s with 2 Jedi and group of confused local species.
The throwaway line in the Acolyte about splinter Jedi orders is interesting, because it would be hilarious to see a Catholic-Protestant split amongst Jedi. Like yes we both believe in following the light side of the force, that the dark side is evil, but I’m going to kill you because I don’t acknowledge the authority of the high council over individual practicing masters and also it’s okay for me to fuck.
I think the Cybersmith is fascinating, in that he is not doing a bit, I think he is genuine in all his crazy stuff, but he has a self-awareness of the attention and feedback he gets from being himself, so he sort of knows where to lean in to get a response.
Teaching the gayest and the horniest parts of the bible on loop.
My understanding (but happy for more information if anyone has it) on the oestrogen thing, is China in the last few years increased restrictions on pharmaceutical medications across the board. Previously you could buy most non addictive (opiates, benzos et) online without any prescription. Antibiotics. Blood pressure medication, whatever. This is included oestrogen. They would also ship these overseas.
Now it’s harder because you need a prescriptions and there’s other rules. So it wasn’t so much some officials saying “How do we make trans people’s lives harder” but more them bringing what had been a rather laissez-faire situation into regulations more in line with most other countries in the world (Europe, Asia etc). But it did materially affect trans people in China and globally.
Apparently he’s claiming Arce ordered him to do it, to boost his popularity because he and Evo Morales are having a factional battle for control of MAS.
I don’t believe that, but it’s a funny excuse, “I was just following (your) orders”
A general tried to arrest the Bolivian president in a coup and then it kind of fizzled out
Also again allegedly they were calling each other husband and wife in texts, while planning to run away to another country and have a baby. Their lawyers defence is this is just jokes between friends. Just two gals joking about.

It may be patched but I definitely remember it working.
No the wiki says it is still there https://en.uesp.net/wiki/Morrowind:Levitate#:~:text=Cliff Racers affected by the, ground and take falling damage.
Taken with a grain of salt. But in China, there’s old laws on the books for breaking up the marriage of soldiers by having an affair. I believe it goes both ways but controversially it has been used relatively recently to send a guy to prison for 10mths. (https://www.sixthtone.com/news/1718)
But apparently (I heard this on twitter but I’m trying to find a better source), there’s a case bouncing around their various courts where a wife of a PLA soldier had an affair with a woman. And the judges are trying to work out if they recognise lesbian relationships on the same level as heterosexual, which would be a landmark precedent (albeit one that might send the woman to prison) or if they accept that lesbians are exempt from the laws against cucking soldiers.
And like if true it’s kind of a funny set of possible outcomes. (Though they might just strike the law down too)
Cast levitate on target 1 pt for 1 second and it kills cliff racers, they fall to their deaths (it switches off their natural levitation effect).
Boots of blinding speed are a must have on any replay. I use the cast dispel for a few seconds and then equip trick and then eventually get enough magic resistance enchantments to use them without. Cast levitate 1 pt on self as well for a cheap and easy flying spell.
I have the opposite to this being in a relationship with a woman and being like “ohhhhh holy fucking shit dude im straighttt im fucking straighttt oh fuck oh shit im sTRAIGHTTTT im fucking STRAIGHTTTTTTTTTTTTTT”, as I’m wearing silky lingerie, a corset, make up, have long hair, no body hair and are getting topped.
Learning from this post about the attempted coup and having a brief panic moment
The first few episodes of the Acolyte were pretty mid, but this episode was good. I like Jedi as martial artists if they lose their lightsaber, like in Tartakovsky Clone Wars.
Introducing a bunch of redshirt Jedi, just to kill two named Jedi we’ve had from the start was a nice twist. The guy playing Qmir the Sith villain is great, he was Jason in the good place which is funny. Plus a cortois helmet that shorts out light sabers? Fantastic.
I’d probably wait for the last three eps before recommending. Though it’s probably fine as a stand-alone too.
The episode is good, great saber fights, martial arts stuff, twists and deaths. If it keeps up the pace it’s the second best show they’ve made, but it might just be one good episode, in a bunch of meh.
