Tehran, Iran – Iran has relaunched patrols by the so-called morality police as authorities escalate their efforts to enforce the country’s mandatory hijab rules.

Saeid Montazeralmahdi, the spokesperson for the Iranian law enforcement force, confirmed on Sunday that police patrols were now operational on foot and with vehicles to crack down on people whose covering is not deemed appropriate in the Islamic Republic.

Ignorant comment… the “left” doesn’t like Islam, they just defend the same right that Christians, Jews, Mormons and etc have, the individual citizen’s right to exercise their religion. I don’t agree with any of these religions, but what do you propose? persecute and imprison everyone who disagrees? perhaps a re-education camp? or maybe kill anyone who has different ideas? Maybe we should start a political party and pass laws prohibiting people from practicing any religion other than the one approved by the government, we might as well ban people from doing something we think is immoral, and so on, let’s make this country great again!
