When Donald Trump says something about Canada, it favours the Liberals, and when he's not focused on Canada, it favours the Conservatives, says pollster Nik Nanos. From what I can tell, Carney was elected on a surge of anti-Americanism because Trump won down here again. He then proceeded to concede to Trump on more or less every issue, and is in the process of actively reducing quality of life through crushing austerity to reach NATO military funding goals that, again, come from Trump. Easy to see why people would feel betrayed.
