I created this community because I had not seen discussion of Rosa Luxemburg yet on this platform. A platform is needed to discuss the transition to proletarian democracy and approaches to achieving Luxemburg’s view of communism.
RoR is in the queue for me, hopefully I can contribute soon comrade!
Awesome! Hope you enjoy reading comrade!
Also, you should be able to just read it! https://www.marxists.org/archive/luxemburg/1900/reform-revolution/index.htm
No need to go through bourgeoisie book providers!
Great timing making this!! I just joined after the recent Reddit nonsense and am excited for this community
You’re welcome!

I’m no luxemburger, but I did find this podcast to be insightful. Maybe they have the explanation you’re looking for.

Yes. Luxemburg argued for a complete dictatorship of the proletariat instead of a dictatorship of the vanguard which aims to serve the proletariat.
She was a democratic communist but not like western demsocs. Key word communist bs socialist. She was still more of a contemporary revolutionary as opposed to modern democratic’ reform ideology, who believed in a proletarian democracy through a revolution and giving power to workers’ councils.
Good idea! :)
Thanks, comrade!
