Dude, there’s a very good likelihood that I am descended from slave owners several generations back on my mother’s side. Do you think I felt guilty? Do you think I felt responsible? Do you think I felt “harangued”? No. I felt lucky to be alive in a time where I can be a better person than my ancestors.
