I see there’s apple@lemmy.world and apple_enthusiast@lemmy.world. Which is the main one to subscribe?

    There are no official and unofficial communities on lemmy, I advise you to search which community has more subscribers, or look at both communities to appreciate their differences.

      With that in mind, apple_enthusiast seems to have an order of magnitude more users than this.

    That’s what I don’t like about Lemmy. However, that’s what happens when you have federation. If one /c/Apple doesn’t fit your needs, join another /c/Apple. If one /c/Apple gets taken over by a crazed moderator, use the other one. You decide which one you want to post in, but you can follow them all and comment on as many or as few as you want. It’s slightly annoying, but that’s just how it works.
