    Thanks for sharing this video! Almost everything was new information to me. Did the USSR have different periods where the population was able to practice their religion more freely? I may be mistaken, but I feel like in The Deprogram I heard Hakim mention that one thing he didn’t like about some areas in the Soviet Union was that it was difficult to practice religion.

      I am not so sure, but if I remember correctly Stalin did end the anti religious campaign during ww2 and reopened churches.

      Stalin allowed a lot of religious freedom. He has the “shariah quote” about letting people of Dagestan continue their traditions.
