Today we are summing up the results of the enormous work that the Communist Party and the people’s patriotic forces have carried out in connection with the 80th anniversary of our Great Historical Victory. But I want to remind everyone that the Soviet country paid a huge price for this Great Victory over the greatest evil on the planet - fascism. Every seventh citizen of our state died at the front and in the rear. Every second communist laid down his life, saving humanity from the brown plague. Every third Belarusian also paid with his life.

Two years ago, on Lenin’s birthday, we held the First Anti-Fascist Forum in the hero city of Minsk. And we thank our Belarusian friends and President Lukashenko, who contributed as much as possible to holding this forum.

The second anti-fascist forum gathered all the most progressive forces. And they unanimously supported our anti-fascist policy. Our forum was welcomed by President Putin, Prime Minister Mishustin, and the Chairmen of both houses of parliament - Matviyenko and Volodin.

Then came the legendary parade on Red Square. It revived the best traditions. And we watched with pride as our army was marched by servicemen from thirteen countries united in the fight against Nazism and fascism. President Putin and Chairman of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping were sitting nearby. And Putin raised a toast to truth and justice at the reception in honor of our guests.

But the truth is also that today the Anglo-Saxons and NATO are waging a war against us to destroy the Russian world. Yes, we will do our utmost to facilitate the negotiations. But no Kyiv delegations will decide anything. They will wait for orders from London and Washington. Because it is the Anglo-Saxons and NATO who are attacking us on all fronts. And it was they who organized seven major sabotage operations two days ago, including against nuclear centers and our strategic aviation. And these sabotage operations should be viewed as an attack against all of humanity.

I would like to appeal to all citizens: we must exercise maximum vigilance and personal responsibility. We must know everything about those who are planning such vile attacks and prevent them.

But we are also extremely concerned that the domestic financial and economic policy is not being conducted in favor of strengthening our security. Not in favor of our producers, not in favor of national enterprises, not in favor of citizens. It is absolutely abnormal when the 21% rate continues to ruin practically all sectors of the economy. It is not only agricultural machinery that has collapsed. And we have spoken about this ten times from the rostrum of the State Duma. We also held an off-site meeting of the State Duma Council, to which we invited all the directors of enterprises in the industry. And they directly stated that with such a financial and economic policy we will soon be unable to cultivate the fields normally.

They decided to remove the unfinished construction, gave the money to the bankers, but they don’t want to finance even those construction projects that need to be completed this year.

How are we going to plan our work when potatoes have quadrupled in price? There is no problem in bringing the price of borscht into line, which has also doubled in price. At the same time, 41 million veterans and pensioners live on 23 thousand rubles a month, and prices are going up and up.

We have prepared the relevant programs, but United Russia does not want to listen to anyone. Recently, my deputy Kashin spoke at the board of the Ministry of Agriculture. Yes, we have moved forward. Yes, there is an increase in indicators. But, we have collected 150 million tons of bread, and not a single loaf has become cheaper by a kopeck in any store. So, we need to take urgent measures. Therefore, on behalf of our open party meeting, the parliamentary vertical, all patriotic forces, I insist on an immediate meeting with the president of the leaders of the parliamentary parties and the government leadership and a discussion of the problem, because it is becoming completely intolerable.

And in this regard, I am amazed by the lack of initiative of United Russia. They just sit and rewrite the election law, each time adjusting it to suit themselves. Instead of a full-fledged dialogue and consideration of a real program.

We also insist on generalizing the experience of people’s enterprises. They are really capable of urgently improving the situation. But United Russia does not want to get acquainted with their unique experience, even in the Lenin state farm near Grudinin.

I would like to thank our party and state activists. We celebrated the 80th anniversary of the Victory in a manner befitting a Communist Party, which was the only party in history to defeat fascism. We implemented the full program of our events. We published an anniversary issue of the Pravda newspaper on May 10, 1945. This is a unique publication, which contains portraits of all the commanders of the Victory, headed by Stalin.

I would like to remind you that the Presidential Advisor Anton Kobyakov, speaking at a major economic forum, called the Belovezhskaya agreement a crime. And that this agreement was illegal. But we have long been advocating for the denunciation of the Belovezhskaya agreements. And we did this on March 15, 1996. At that time, the 156th and 157th resolutions of the Duma were prepared. 256 deputies voted for them. And at night, Yeltsin’s gang brought troops into the Duma. But the security forces came to Yeltsin and said that this crime would unleash a civil war. Although three decrees had already been prepared: on the dissolution of the Duma, on the arrest of 400 people and the introduction of martial law. Then Yeltsin tore up these decrees, cursed, and the troops were withdrawn from the Duma.

After the default, the Primakov-Maslyukov-Gerashchenko government was formed. It pulled the country back from the brink of the abyss. And we pursued a left-of-center financial and economic policy. However, they were not allowed to finish the job. And then our party and 156 deputies appealed to the country with a demand to condemn the criminal Yeltsin regime, to impeach it. We did not have enough votes. And, first of all, these were the votes of the Zhirinovskyites. And now they are making another prophet out of him!

I bow to those guys who are fighting at the front today. But without unity of the front and the rear, without a unified financial and economic policy, it is impossible to win. Therefore, it is necessary to rely on our Great Victory. And during all our events, we have shown how to do this.

Now we fight together, but respect our point of view, our position. Have an honest dialogue with us! And you continue to persecute Klychkov, Konovalov, Lokot, who showed the best results. This is not good enough!

In preparation for the 80th anniversary of Victory, we held three plenary sessions. We revealed the essence of fascism. That it is inevitably generated by big capital. In my opinion, we have done a lot to promote the Red Banner of Victory. Although such figures as the St. Petersburg governor Beglov continue to create obstacles for us. But, in the current conditions, this is worse than Banderaism!

We carried the Victory Banner across the entire country. We visited 175 cities, almost all hero cities. We started with the hero city of Sevastopol, where my father fought and was seriously wounded. We unfurled this banner on Red Square.

We held a pioneer week, organized a magnificent concert in the Column Hall. Five thousand children were accepted into the pioneers on Red Square. I thank everyone who participated in this: Afonin, Novikov, Drobot, Isakov, Kashin, and Tsarikhin. But we must continue to move in this direction.

We planted a Memory Garden, a Victory Garden at the Lenin State Farm. That’s fifteen thousand seedlings. Another fifteen hundred were planted together with the DPRK Ambassador and those guys who fought shoulder to shoulder with us in the Kursk Region. We restored all ties with the Communist Parties of China, Vietnam, the DPRK, with India, with the Arab countries, with Latin America, with Cuba, with Venezuela, with Nicaragua.

We have established a unique Victory Medal, which depicts a monument to the Soviet victorious soldier, erected in Treptower Park in the center of Berlin. We have awarded 70 thousand of these awards, noting that the Victory over fascism is the most outstanding event in modern history.

I also thank our women’s movement. Nina Ostanina held her congress wonderfully and published a special magazine.

Strengthening the union state of Russia and Belarus is very important for us. BRICS and SCO also play an exceptionally stabilizing role. But without changing the socio-economic course, without socialization, without patriotism, without respect for our great history, without honoring the Victory, without studying our unique experience, we cannot win on new fronts.

A people’s referendum is something without which we cannot go to the elections. Afonin and Novikov are right when they say that we need to collect 30% more signatures than those who voted for us in the elections. But it is fundamentally important for us that every vote is counted. That everyone who votes in the referendum continues to work with us. That is why I insist on increasing personal discipline and responsibility. After all, we are facing very difficult tasks.

We have prepared everything necessary for the report to the Congress. All our organizations have submitted their materials. And we are obliged to work through them with Novikov’s group in full, to publish a political report by the 20th. Now is a different time. And we must fully summarize what you have proposed, having discussed it in all organizations, including with allies and friends.

We can also be proud of our sports vertical. Here, next to me, is my first deputy, the head of our sports club Melnikov. We became absolute champions in mini-football. We won the cup for the first time, defeating Norilsk Nickel in the final match with a score of 7:2.

Under the leadership of my deputy Afonin, we became absolute chess champions, winning both the cup and the Russian championship. Our volleyball players are among the top three teams in the country. Our “power athletes” and our swimmers show excellent results. Marat Muzayev went to the DPRK, where he participated in a marathon and was among the top three. This is the unity of spirit, will, strength and true patriotism.

On June 6, we will celebrate Russian Language Day, Pushkin Day. And this year we must celebrate it as an outstanding holiday. After all, it was we who initiated the Russian Language Day on Pushkin’s birthday.

Then, on June 22, the “Candle of Memory” event will take place.

In conclusion, I would like to name a number of topics that everyone needs to work hard on. Because they have long been asking for deep reflection, and must be well thought out during the preparation of the report and the promotion of the materials of our Congress.

First of all, these are the values ​​of man and the vices of liberalism. These vices not only ruined us, but almost completely ruined the country. Because without the values ​​of socialism, justice and truth, no other values ​​work.

Soviet experience and new features of socialism. Today they have emerged both in people’s enterprises and as a result of three Oryol economic forums. And we need to generalize this material and convey it to the new replenishment of our party. We are currently training the 60th stream at the Center for Political Studies. This is a new generation of people who are deeply learning the foundations of Marxism-Leninism, the ideals of socialism taking into account the current specifics.

Socialist laws and anti-people legislation. Everything that was taken from the people has not yet been returned, despite all the promises.

It is also fundamentally important for us to consider the topic of why fascism is tenacious and the methods of its destruction. It concerns every person today.

Class struggle and hybrid warfare. This is a very complex topic. I would ask Novikov and his talented team to think about it. After all, today, hybrid warfare is spreading and expanding, acquiring a terrible color and characteristics. Although this does not cancel out class struggle.

And the modern foundations of Marxist-Leninist science.

All these topics must be studied in depth in preparation for the Congress and the adoption of our program for the future.

But without a victory at the front over fascism, Nazism and Banderaism, without uniting society and mastering the latest technologies, which the president said in his address, the problems cannot be solved. Therefore, a new course is needed, a constant dialogue is needed, an adjustment of the current policy is needed. But I do not see it from the side of United Russia. So we must take measures urgently. It is impossible to win by lowering industry below zero again. This concerns education, upbringing, and the unity of society.

Left-patriotic forces have always played a decisive role in victories over fascism and Nazism. But someone in the administration does not understand that a war against the left flank is a crime against the country and the political system. Yeltsin and his bastards had to be crushed to prevent them from selling the country at auction. And now they are again rushing about the third privatization. This is a complete disgrace! There can be no privatization in war conditions. On the contrary, centralization of management and concentration of resources are needed. And they still can’t line their pockets. Therefore, it is necessary to urgently take exhaustive measures!

When summing up the results of the open party meeting, G.A. Zyuganov said:

• Dear comrades! Today we received a full volume of information: from assessments of the geopolitical situation, the situation in the world and the country, to summing up the results of our festive events. We demonstrated our collective and friendly work, program documents and bills of the CPRF.

You have once again seen that the Communist Party has everything it needs to help the country and the people get out of the systemic crisis and deadlock. To help citizens unite and become as united as possible.

At this party forum, the thesis was once again confirmed that victory at the front over Nazism, Banderaism and fascism is our main task.

Within the framework of the state-patriotic Union, we are preparing for the July party Congress and the autumn election campaign. As well as for the upcoming election campaign to the State Duma.

The CPRF is a party of the people and for the people. It is mobilized and working on all fronts.
