Everyone is free to do whatever they want with their lives but remember that not everyone is suddenly gay. I think the project doesn’t need to stuff any gender ideology to thrive.

sure, not everyone would probably put the rainbow flag on the icon of their app. This is true for every choice. Not everyone would pick the font the mlem developers chose, or the color palette of the app, etc. but people can make the choices they want for their app, no?
nobody is “cancelling” anyone though? People are just telling you what they think? Which mat be different from what you think. Who is getting “canceled” and how?
